TORONTO—The Canadian Media Directors’ Council just issued its 2008/2009 edition of Media Digest, a 104-page report on the state of the advertising industry in Canada.
According to the report, total ad revenue increased 5% in 2007 over 2006 to $13.4 billion.
Internet experienced the largest jump. Internet ad revenue increased 23% from $1.01 billion to $1.24 billion, accounting for 9% of total ad revenue in Canada.
