VANCOUVER—It’s a new chapter for Douglas & McIntyre Publishing Group, which recently received a new identity. The West Coast independent book publisher has changed its name to D&M Publishers following the acquisition of New Society Publishers. D&M will serve as a banner for all three of its divisions: Douglas & McIntyre, Greystone Books and New Society Publishers.
A new logo has been created to reflect the name change, designed by D&M art director Peter Cocking and his in-house design team.
D&M’s Greystone Books imprint also has an updated graphic identity. Its corporate logo now includes a stylized raven to stand alongside the Douglas & McIntyre bull and New Society Publishers’ nurse log.
The rebranding will be unveiled in an advertising campaign designed by Rethink
