Flying isn’t fun for everyone but with these new sickbags, it definitely makes flying better.
FlyGTA, a 100% local business and also Toronto’s ultra-short haul carrier has released a limited series of air sickness bags.
Dubbed Sick Art (#sickart), these bags feature three different style designs created by some of Toronto’s prolific and popular street artists – Runt, Jimmy Chaiale, and Uber5000. Available from March 1st until they run out (which everyone hopes will not be happening anytime in the near future…)
According to Alex Shifrin, managing partner at LP/AD, “When a street artist does a quick illustration on the side of a building, in street art lingo that’s called a throw-up.” Chris Nowrouzi, CEO of FlyGTA, inspired to merge and celebrate Toronto’s roots, thought that through these fun and unique sickbags and, “bringing Toronto’s streets to the skies,” would display the love of Toronto and the great things the city has to offer.
The idea was developed and produced by LP/AD but the, “creative kind wrote itself,” indicated Shifrin.
If you don’t have time to check out some of FlyGTA offers, flights or packages, and get your hands on one of these vibrant sickbags, you can always check it out at your convenience in the FlyGTA lounge at Toronto’s Billy Bishop Airport.
