Canada Jetlines Ltd,or JETLINES is rebranding and reintroducing itself to the Canadian market this year. Jetlines is a low-cost carrier, which serves as a relatable alternative airline to expensive and cold corporate companies.
The rebranding comes from a need to provide a cost-friendly way for Canadians to travel. As it stands, Canadians pay the some of the highest airfare costs in the world. Jetlines believes that affordable airfare should be easily accessible.
The new, cheeky motto for the company is “Flying sucks less when you pay less.” Free of any pretension or corporate semantics. Customers are frustrated with the costs of flying, so Jetlines looks to alleviate the frustration by being honest.
Life is not perfect, and the people you encounter in life are not perfect, so flying in and of itself will not be a perfect experience. Yet, there are things you can control to take back your dignity, and one of those things is simply paying less for the experience of traveling. Jetlines doesn’t look to join the ranks of gargantuan corporate airlines. Jetlines does look to offer an airlines experience where you pay less.
Jetlines themselves has noted their partnership Cossette, saying, “Working with Cossette, the new identity system is authentic, accessible and deliberately distinct from the expensive goliath incumbents in Canada. The logo incorporates a face with a knowing smirk created from an upside-down plane. It includes an additional suite of expressive faces to capture every emotion of travel.”
Cossette is a Quebec City based marketing communications company that specializes in Brand Repositioning, Digital Production, Mobile Marketing, Social Media, Media Planning and Analytics.
The CEO of Canada Jetlines, Javier Suarez, has personally thanked Cossette by “building such a strong brand identity that reflects our passion and values.” The launch is scheduled for December 17, 2019 in preparation for the new year and to celebrate the previous year’s partnership. In 2016, 2017 and 2018, Cossette has won the distinction of “Agency of the Year” from Strategy Magazine.
With this new launch, Canada Jetlines is set to be the first distinctly Canadian Ultra Low Cost Carrier (ULCC) with nonstop services all across Canada, the United States, Mexico and the Caribbean.
