Prelco, the experts in glass solutions, announced that they have updated their brand, including their logo and website. The decision to update the brand after years with their old branding was part of an effort to modernize their visual identity while still holding true to their long-standing traditions.
The Prelco Group is a 65-year-old company based in Riviere-du-Loup, Quebec, Canada that specializes in manufacturing complex and innovative glass solutions that meet their customers’ architectural, transportation and defense market needs.
They aim to be a major supplier of glass products across North America and to surpass the expectations of their customers now and in the future. Prelco has six factories located throughout eastern North America and employ over 650 people. They design and manufacturing glazing products for commercial and institutional buildings, high-rise apartment buildings and specialty vehicles like land, rail and watercraft.
The New Design
Prelco’s goal with the new branding and logo was to celebrate and reflect their expertise in glass solutions. The goal was a new look that paid homage to who they have always been while also looking to the future. They wanted to create a logo that honoured the material they work with and know best: glass. The aim was for a logo that expressed both refinement and innovation, just like their products do. Their new logo helps them present a unified image that shows their strength, knowledge and expertise. They are proud to adopt a new image as they march forward into the future.
Our Design Agency
To create this updated logo, Prelco worked with the agency Phosphore. This graphic design firm helped Prelco every step of the way from concept to design to implementation. Phosphore’s team specializes in refreshing old idea and putting a new spin on them, combining the perfect elements to create a consistent look.
