A creative collaboration between two leading agencies has resulted in the new logo and branding for Tourism Vancouver. The goal of Tourism Vancouver, a marketing organization and business association, is to promote Vancouver as a destination for travelers. The new compass-inspired logo embodies this sentiment and establishes the Vancouver Destination Brand.

The logo invokes the markings on a compass and pays homage to the sense of adventure that permeates Vancouver. The compass motif is intended to inspire visitors to let the city guide them as they explore everything Vancouver has to offer. The new logo features both horizontal and stacked configurations for versatile use.
The new logo was created as part of a joint collaboration between MMGY and McCann Canada. The design process took over a year and involved feedback from a diverse mix of proud Vancouverites, including representatives from community organizations, industry, First Nations, arts, brands, sports teams, government and media.
