Shikatani Lacroix has hired seven new team members in Toronto, including veteran creative director Gary Oakley, Doug Gammage as director of strategy and insights, and brand strategist Jared Breski.
“We are delighted to welcome Gary, Doug and Jared to our team,” said Jean-Pierre Lacroix, president of the branding and design firm, in a company release. “They bring with them decades’ worth of knowledge and experience and complementary skills that will elevate our team and enhance our work.”
Oakley, whose previous placements include creative director roles at the Toronto offices of Hunter Straker and Anthem Worldwide, is a multiple award winner with multi-disciplinary experience. At almost 30 years in the business, he’s worked with consumer packaged goods and retail brands including Loblaws, Safeway, Home Depot and more.
The hiring spate also includes:
- Lisa Liu, intermediate designer, branded environments; formerly of Telus
- Lee Photavath, senior designer, branded environments; previously of X-Design Inc.
- Leann Zhou, architectural technologist; seven years of corporate design experience
- Hilda Lam, project manager; experience includes signage projects for Toronto’s Mel Lastman Square and Toronto Pearson International Airport Terminal One
