As a special fund-raising feature at the GDC Pica Conference, being held this May 7 to 10 in Edmonton and hosted by GDC Alberta North, will be the sale of Circle Design’s “Maxim/Dictum” poster.
The poster was recently featured in the January/February issue of Designedge Canada, in the article “Assume Nothing” written by Rob Peters, founder of Circle, a design consultancy he co-founded in Winnipeg in 1976 and which he wound up this March folding the business into Tétro Design.
Peters is donating the poster to the GDC Foundation, and all proceeds from the sale will help the GDC build a sustainable fund for designers in need and to provide scholarships and grants.
Designed by Peters, the 11.875- x 15.9375-inch posters will be printed on Classic Crest text bright white 100% PC FSC recycled paper (provided by Spicers Vancouver) with the printing done by Hemlock Printers in Vancouver on an HP Indigo 7500 digital press.
Copies of poster can be ordered for $40 (includes shipping), simply by sending an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.
